New Hours! (With Apologies to George Carlin)

Based on your requests, the Camano Island Library Pilot Project will be changing our hours of operation starting June 6. We looked at patterns of use, and decided to trim some of our evening hours so we could be open on Mondays. So starting Monday the 6th, we'll be open Mondays 1-5, 10-7 Tuesday through Thursday, and the usual 10-5 on Friday and Saturday.




(As George might say, "What's new about Monday? It's been around for as long as I can remember!")

A Special Library Visit!

The Camano Chapel kindergarten class visits the Camano Island Library Pilot Project for a storytime field trip. The Camano Chapel and other Camano Island preschool programs often visit the library for a special Ready Readers program facilitated by Children's Liaison Mary Jennings. The cute little "traffic turtles" provided by the Camano Island Friends (and Lois Sharpe) make sure drivers take it slow when kids are around the library.
